Being at a stage in life when I can dedicate a lot more time to music, my aim is simply to keep playing, writing, producing and publishing as much as possible.
Anyone interested in collaborating should in the first instance contact me by email.
I love all kinds of music and would never concentrate only in one genre. My listening habits cover all kinds of music, from Soul to R&B, Classic to Swing, Reggae to Rock, Hip Hop to EDM, I truly love them all. But I guess, at a squeeze, I would have to admit to preferring the heavier beats. I always used to say when asked about my musical preferences that I like music that is blacker than white; preferably a fusion of both. I am strongly influenced by the Funk and Rock music of the seventies and eighties. My albums (see below) show the different styles and influences picked up along the way. Being based in London made me a regular visitor to the countless music venues and pubs dotted around the capital, where I listened to innovative trends and styles from bands that would later become famous. I am a solo artist at heart but am becoming more and more interested in working on collaborations with other singers/song-writers and musicians. Back in the late 80s and early 90s I worked on a songwriting project with Trevor Murrell and Deon Estus, both Wham musicians at the time, on an album that did not succeed in the charts and the project was shelved. Financial constraints and commitments forced me back into regular work as a means to bring up a family. I knew I would always return when conditions allowed. Music is all I’ve ever wanted to do.
