Hiding in plain sight for all to see

Right wing populists to you and me

Smiling they say they’re on your side

With friends like that then you better hide

 Hiding in plain sight is what they are

Those elected to raise the bar

Smiling they tell you what they mean

But their actions show another scene

Different scene

Smiles, that hide the web they weave

lying, until we believe

they, don’t even try to hide

they, will never take your side

Never will

take your side 

Hiding in plain sight is what they do

Right wing populists to me and you

Smiling they tell you what to do

dubious words that are never true

Hiding in plain sight they show no shame

Right wing populists are all the same

Their excuses verge on the lame

Their misdeeds are done in your name

In your name
