I often try to imagine
how things were before
it’s been such a long long time
can’t wait anymore
It seems like this winter’s long
it’s been here for years
the winter the world stood still
and awoke our fears

see the colours of spring
summer’s coming
with the warmth it brings

and to hear birds sing

The gardens are blooming now
the trees are alive
it’s been such a long long wait
for summer to arrive
They say if it’s so good
it’s worth waiting for
it’s time to dance in the streets
time to open doors
