What the eye may never find

Lives deep within the mind,

Where truths are often clear

Theres no point hiding behind

A plan that’s undefined

Of all that you hold dear

Beneath the surface tells the tales

Of victories and fails

And all that’s meant to be

If you don’t look you’ll never find

You’ll be blind leading the blind

And you’ll never be set free

Beneath the surface must be seen

The love, the hate, the in between

Under masks, beneath the guise,  

the truth is written in the eyes

Beneath the surface, worlds unfold

The many stories yet untold

many promises and lies

The truth is written in the eyes

Beneath the surface lies the key,

To what it’s meant to be,

And all you’ve yet to know

Beneath the surface tells the tales

Of victories and fails

Beneath the surface, time will show

The paths you’re meant to go

To let your spirit grow
