I promised you I’d stick around forever

but life just got in the way

Got tired of playing second fiddle to your money

that ain’t the way I like to play

Promises are easier to break

When one is feeling insecure

Giving up instead is what you chose to do

I chose to give up on you

I know two wrongs will never make a right
