And once again we see our world
on the brink of war
seems like no one is paying attention
to what went before
If they refuse to learn the lessons of history
we’ll never see the end of war and of misery

Those troubled people wanna throw it all away
It’s competition and we haven’t got a say
I’m sick of hearing them when trying to justify
their careless actions to wave the world goodbye

There are some leaders who will always
let everyone down
like rowdy young men on a weekend
crawl around town
These power-hungry men are not just unruly fools
They run their armies of destruction
with killing tools
